Funny Statuses and Gran in Boots!!!

Hey everyone! How are yorl keeping? It's been a busy busy week with moving all contacts to my new bb device. Slowly but surely it's getting done. My new blackberry is for friends, clients and acquaintances only. If you haven't received my bc to be moved, u should get it by this week. :-)

 

Why is it that people feel it's necessary to update their statuses with weird and mundane information?





 

• DND - I'm at the docs (put us on a guilt trip cos if we don't ask who is sick, that becomes an issue)
• It's raining outside! (does it rain inside? ....... tnx for the weather update)
• Who has the number for Makro? (if you can google "Nando's on Sparks", surely you can get that info for Makro!!!)
• He makes me sooo cross!!!! (Sorry to burst your bubble honey, but if u are attached to a man who experiences more PMS than u, its time to re-assess that relationship!)
• Chats anyone??? (OMW!!!! Are you serious? That's screaming that u are: bored / no one is chatting to u !  *blocks face ..... rather u hav as status: "selectively available" - like my good friend I.C. has, heehee)

 

Burrrrrt I came across this classic.... So now what???  We just sit and wonder if that sneeze really came? Maybe we should all recite 'yarhamu kalla' after 4 min. 

 



 

What about funny statuses?

• I wonder if fat drug dealers sell diet coke. (This contact is probably a regular client!)
• If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends? (She is definitely my youngest contact!)
• The zoo is a pretty safe place to fart. (No wonder some animal species are becoming extinct!)
• I’m not getting older, I’m just becoming a classic.(Aha! I told you that I'm gonna include your status here!)
• My bank is the worst. They’re charging me money for not having enough money in my account. Apparently, I can’t even afford to be broke.(Eish! that's a tough one to even joke about!)
• Get yours now! U snooze, u loose! (This was too funny NOT to include this in my post> It's actually a re-take of my previous blog. Why do people continually misuse this word???)

With Eid being this week, it really was a short week. All the excitement of having the animals being delivered and not forgetting everyone with their kids, nieces and nephews wearing their branded name overalls and gumboots posing with cute little lambs in their yard. Awww that's cute! But this year I noticed ladies and even OMW..... grannys wearing these boots! I mean, come on Nani! Showing off your pink boots is soooo clinging to your youth, its actually quite laughable. Your daughter is probably saying that the colour suits you so well but your son inlaw is definitely thinking of ways to avoid been seen anywhere near you at the farm. And she puts it as a dp!!! *blocks face

 

We've been having fantastic weather in Durbs this week, lovely sunshine and now we've got the beautiful rain. People please drive safe, stay safe. I've been receiving regular traffic updates from a few of my contacts about MVA. Always wear your seatbelt when you are driving.

 

One of my contacts loves receiving jokes - I think its good to de-stress after a hectic day!  Tnx for msging me from your trip. Its a pleasure having you around.....
