Last week saw us having our general elections in SA. It ran smoothly without any news of violence. Well done to all that took the time to make your mark for the party that you trust and support AND a hug to all those that volunteered the long hours at the voting stations!

The thought of this makes me so mad. You know what I mean! 3 weeks ago there was this 'craze' going around on bbm where bbm users where being sucked into these and no matter how hard you to try to exit, you were back inside. Not like they were even a great networking idea because our phones were jammed and for me this is crucial for clients changes on my profile. Even re-booting the phone didn't help and I had to wait for over 45 min before sanity returned. I had to unfortunately, delete the contacts that started the multi-chats. I wasn't the only person to find this annoying:
I sent out a bc the next day telling all my lovely contacts that please refrain from inviting me to these or they will be deleted. I received many replies all agreeing with me but what really stunned me was the ffg extremely nasty comment which I was quick to screengrab:
I was so shocked at this message I had to blink my eyes twice. I mean I do receive the occasional bbm msg where a contact disagrees with my bc and I always msg back to the effect:
"Thanks for messaging me and you are entitled to your opinion which I respect."
I'm always courteous but yikes I have noooo idea what ticked him of that he had to take out his frustration on me!!! Anyone want to query??? Please ask directly what's his problem... pin:25B0C998

Lol, I have the most hilarious contacts on bbm! Some very original ideas on how to handle trouble-makers on bbm. Anyways, my resident techy contact sent me this msg and it really made sense:

Some of my contacts get themselves into insanely weird situations. Like you know, hurting themselves all over. #ouch but bottom line is that they love sharing it with us. And Q is always around to screengrab all your funnny profiles!
Forget the mutton, I think of steak and lots of other foods you won't be able to handle eating! Another contact had this up as profile, and NO I don't think that you have to ping for more info on the broken hand! LMAO!

I would like to dedicate this post to a bbm contact, colleague and friend, 'MS' who sadly passed away in Riyadh after contacting a deadly virus.
